SCS REFRIGERATED SERVICES ANNOUNCES NEW
PRESIDENT
SCS Refrigerated Services, LLC, Algona, WA announced today that Mr. Carl E. Byrnes,
previously Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Business Development was
elected President by the Board of Directors of the company, effective January
26, 2009.
Mr. Byrnes joined the Company in October of
2007. Through his positions as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President
Business Development Mr. Byrnes has participated in all aspects of the
Company’s business activities. In addition, he has developed key growth,
operational efficiencies, and development strategies.
Mr. Byrnes has an MBA degree from the Johnson
Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a BSBA from Washington
University in St. Louis. Prior to joining SCS, Mr. Byrnes held executive
positions with Pfizer Inc, RBC Capital Markets and other leading investment
banking groups. He has extensive corporate finance, capital
markets, competitive & strategic analysis, and investor relations
expertise.
SCS is the largest provider of
temperature-controlled warehousing and logistic services in the Greater Puget
Sound region of the Pacific Northwest. The company is a premier provider of
such services to the food and aerospace sectors.
